I think so, too bad he's so far away. Now I'm forced to go to an engine builder that knows what he's doing and shows you the parts, what he charges for them and will actually put them in the engine. That's not to say Mark did not know what he was doing, he knew he was ripping people off.

If you need motors call DEAN GELLNER in OHIO Hes Mr. horsepower on oso, I sent him a motor that was built by a big name guy in NJ, to inspect and rebuild it cause my friend had the twin to this but his together so he threw it in his boat never ran right,1st cam got eaten, then the bottom went south he need pistons, bored out total rebuild. so DEAN FOUND the same mistakes on mine and had to go machine the heads block rebalance change cam to better one, carbs too, so we are looking at over 1000hp when done on 93/94 octane its a 1071/572 its my dream machine always wanted a nice blower motor to get me to 100,my old motor will be a back up since its 650hp and that will go to dean next year we figure with a custom cam and intake change we will see 720hp, the intake is top secret he is a smart guy easy to talk to he did a nice job on some OLs that was in power boat mag. his shop phone# is 216 398 8500 they had a race boat in key west again and on FF VIDEO in the beginning you see a race boat its red and on top says dean gellner engineering , so anyone looking for a great builder to work with he is your man. artie

yep, that sums it up!! i had to have everything redone that he said he did. anyone in that are be aware that he is still working --either for himself in a whole in the wall, or for someone else ( i am sure claiming to be better then we all know he is)

and yes--50 hrs, you may have actually gotten 1 brand name part.

Yep, I got a brand name part, it was the block that I paid extra for (world). Plus my intake and carburetors that he said he rebuilt. I had to have them rebuilt again.

Wow Being a Newer Member...... I read all of these... This CHIT is CRAZY....

I am surprised that people get away with this stuff. Well not that they do. It will all come around in time But for most of us it usually affects our summers.....

Good luck.. I have learned a lot from all the post...
I guess I will sit back and wait for the results

My end result was an additional twenty-five thousand dollars spent to undo the mess that I paid seventeen thousand dollars to Mark Prince the first time around, and this time to put in all the parts I paid him for the first time around that he did not, but claimed he did. The difference this time around, I found a builder with good references, great equipment, great shop, and someone who would tell the truth no matter what. The builder kept me informed at all times, allowed me in during assembly to see that what I was paying for was what I got. I know what went into the builds, have the receipts from the builder to prove what went in, and have the dyno sheets to prove that the performance and quality is there. Instead of a test stand, touted to be a dyno, this builder had a real dyno, that reported real results and adjustments were made by this builder to achieve the very best results with the parts being utilized. This time around I got 692 horsepower at 5700 rpm's and 700 pounds of torque at 4700 rpm's and have paperwork to prove it. Yes, it costs a little more to go with a reputable builder, but you can see what it cost me to do business with Mark Prince. Oh yes, I have a large collection of parts that would be good in a pleasure boat or family car for sale. Those being the ones that I paid for the brand name top shelf high dollar parts and got the low buck no name pieces instead. I'm sure other members got similar results once they found someone trustworthy to replace the $hit Mark Prince put in their engines. I doubt he'll ever go to jail or be made to compensate any one of the customers he $hit on, but by keeping this thread fresh it might keep someone else from getting phucked by him.
