I dont have a problem with their hard parts, I have the throttle bodies and some fuel system parts. But i would never let them program anything. If you need to speak with someone tell them you want to place an order and then wehn they get on the phone tell them the issue..ironically they always find time to take a new order...

Gee, thats mighty nice of them Rob
My engine builder was doing a 622 N/A motor for a customer. 4 times they sent the ecm back to ASM and finally gave up. Bought the software and learned on their own dime how to tune it on the dyno. I sure wouldn't let them do my puter. |
Custom tune is always the way to go whether DFI, Big Stuff, factory merc, etc. there are plenty of platforms that tuners can use.
Wrinkle - your guy in MI? I can point you to some good tuners if he wants to go a different route. |

I used one of there reprogrammed ecms and spent the rest of the year putting a replacement engine in . with no help from them at all. Wasn't even offered a refund on the ecm job.

I know of a couple of boats that have used their ECM upgrades and soon after had roached motors.
Had another buddy he did the program for last a whole hour at the lake before he burned a hole in his piston. No help afterwards. He sleaved it, put a new piston in it, sent it to Peto and its still running a year later. Another buddy had them build him motors, took over a year to get his boat back. They lasted about a month before he had to start from scratch. Another guy had them reprogram his 500efi's, they didn't make it two trips before he had to rebuild his motors. I don't know how they stay in business, no-one ever has anything positive to say about them. |
