I bought a boat off ebay while I was in Japan and my Brother took it to Eastside for me. while it was there they stripped the fuel inlet threads on one of my new Demon carbs. They told me it needed the engines rebuilt and suggested Jasper engines and seemed upset when I said no that I would have them rebuilt. When I got it back home I found numorus double charges on my bill, my new batteries were now old batteries, they made adjustments to my engines after I had told them not to that the builder would take care of any issues. My timing had been retarded 23 deg. and the idle mixture screws were anywhere from 3/4 - 2 1/2 turns out and the E-Z idle screws were tightened against the seats. When I spoke with them after I stopped payment on the check their response was I hadn't even seen the boat before they got it.

I have been there a few times to buy parts, but never had them do any wrenching. I was going to get them to winterize my boat last year, but they would not do it with anti freeze like my previous mechanic, so I went somewhere else. Never heard any issues about them before. The only place I have had issues with around Evansville is Lynns, would not go there again. Good luck on getting your problem solved..
