Sounded like there was enough embarrassment to go around for everyone, especially the thread starter. When things start getting closer and closer to truth, with the exception of crass comments, that's usually when threads go missing. It suspect it is heavily weighted to who you are, or the perception of who you are.

There should be a conclusion posted somewhere when this is settled, because the parties involved (both), look pretty muddied from my perspective.

When Dom started making comments today it felt like watching a slow car crash. Someone should have disconnected him before he said too much. Phraggle was right, we did not get enough information from anyone to form an accurate opinion. But we were still slighted towards the side of someone sold their boat in amateurish fashion and things spiraled downhill quickly.

Speedgirl, is the thread held in some vault so when the final resolution does come out, we can either reactivate it or post it so we can see what data turned out to be accurate and which members guessed things the right way?

As crazy and back and forth that one got maybe another category should be installed right under the Beware and Stolen category called "Soaps".

Once a thread gets to 5 pages of back and forth then it should be moved to the "Soaps" Category and left alone.

The criteria once it has been moved into the soaps category would be that all parties involved know and understand that:

"anything they say, can and will be used against them".

Actually I'm bummed that I missed Dom's latest comments. I was trying to keep up on it in case it went poof, but didn't suceed.

He actually apologized for his comment before it went poof.

This morning was pretty good. It was basically putting to ferral cats in a closed box and shaking it. I was surprised Dom was making the comments. Almost thought he was LDD for a moment.

Dom said he bought the boat, made a bunch of payment, dealt with an NSF (or many NSF) check(s), but the repo man came so now it is her problem. . . basically. I had just asked why the boat was coincidentally parted out before the repo man showed and the thread went dead.

I think it's right next to the thread showing Chris Sunkin's boats, pictures and all. :lolhit:

He made some classic completely irrelevant comments about the OP and proved no matter how the story shakes out, he's still a douche.

I was able to catch the drama right before the poof.

DT's final stance - they are crooks and he will bid on the boat to show what losers they are (why buy it again??). Did not supply any new proof just alot of threats.

Mary - DT never made good on promises to pay in full and took the boat for some joy rides then stripped it - Leaving them on the hook for the note.

If the authorities are involved, 1 party may be charged with filing a false report, the other could be charged with felony theft. Or it could vanish like it was all a dream???

That's an understatement, I happened to be up at 3am and logged in just after Dominic's drunk postings.

He said that he had made good on the nsf check, had possession of the boat for 14 months, the whole King group was in bankruptcy and that they had numerous parties after the Kings for money.

He never explained how he lost possession or who stripped the boat.

Then he went and made some incredibly rude personal comments about Mary King that deserved to be struck.

I am wondering if the Kings owner financed this deal.

I was still up working on photos, and followed the thread till 5 AM. Upon Mr. Torsen making the inappropriate statements towards The King's, I reported Mr. Torsen for his language & comments ;)

While, I have kept my opinions to myself & stayed completely out of the conversation, I have been watching the thread since the 1st post. No matter who is right or wrong, as was pointed out in the thread, I just hope there is a positive outcome for the one, that has suffered the most, and that would be the Outerlimits.

I'll differ with you on the "wasted time" thought. I had been looking for a thread to grab and bring me back into the OSO spirit after leaving SOS. The threads about CS were interesting, but King's OL thread got me.

Ms. King asked for the thread to be deleted.... Because so many would take a hit on their post count I moved the thread to an undisclosed section of OSO :eek:
