I figured it out!!!! just had to go back a few threads to connect the dots.....

MTC brokered the outlerlimits between Mary and Dominic.... Dom paid MTC, MTC never paid Mary, but neither party new that MTC was actually involved in the deal... But it wasn't actually an Outerlimits, it was just an Activator with an OL hull id..and the motors, they were taken in the middle of the night from MTC's yard (they tried to get the whole boat, but the guy who works the security camera in the yard told the guy the wrong ball size. They took the chart plotter and stereo too, but they accidently got dropped in a wood chipper that Sunkin claimed to own. The guy at MTC denies knowing Sunkin, but Catastrophy found Satilite piks on the internet. Further sluething determined they werent actually sat photos, but photos taken by Jayboat from an SR71 spyplane owned by Commanche3six. These photos were then sent to Phantomchaos for distribution :D Its all making sense now.....

No but common sense does. We have three pages of nothing except "dont buy from them" .... no reason, no explanation.... If there was a problem then the problem needs to be explained or this thread is going to disappear. I dont know MTC. Never been there. Dont care one way or the other BUT if you are going to say something negative about ANYBODY then either back it up or dont post. Period.

I JUST do not get where you are coming from at all.....The BBB notes that I posted were REAL specific and quoted directly from the report. I'm not going to waste time rewriting it, but when there are "misrepresentations" and what amounts to breach of contract that's pretty specific! I really don't care what people say about the BBB. To ME, who started the thread, it was damn valuable information. Before I outlay that kind of money it was a damn fair question to start the thread with and I am damned glad that I found out what I did. Not valuable to you, maybe not, but it wasn't YOUR money. Let's talk about back up..... maybe one person complaining to the BBB but then we have this TCBoss who's experience was REAL bad. Who the Hell cares to hear the specifics?! That is at least 2 VERY dissatisfied customers! I DO NOT want to be a 3rd, 4th or whatever. The guy that made the comment that if you take care of your customers then your business rep. is good is right on the $! If you don't make your customers happy then people deserve to know. What in the hell are these forums all about if you can't ask a legitimate question and get honest responses??? Maybe you can explain why my original thread asking the same question in the GENERAL Section MYSTERIOUSLY disappeared after the business submitted SEVERAL very crappy & suspect responses. Sure, make the thread disappear before anyone else gets a chance to post maybe another negative experience!!! Talk about an unfair agenda! Is it that as others have implied they are threatening to pull their Advertising from you so now you have to jump on my butt???:bsflag: I have no idea who you are but it is called freedom of speech and what you are doing/saying is REAL wrong if this is indeed a FORUM!!

I've got a better idea, go spend some of your hard earned $$$$ with Jeff Wilson, you deserve it.

Racegirl, I understand your point. I'll gather facts from the victims that reached out to me and get some details posted as well as posting my experience with Jeff Wilson.

So the forum boss' want proof but deleat when there was negative feedback to the question being asked.....yes or no??

So who rules???

I guess I'm a phugin' idiot !!

I just Googled Marine Tech Concepts REVIEWS and here's one here. It may be a fake review by a disgruntal employee or an ex wife though.

Minus 0 for these Rip-Off Artists. Sold boat to an elderly man that did not run with assurances that had been completely checked out and gone over by them. Boat did not run. Tried to extort almost $4000 additional $ from poor man. Scammers that should be put out of business yesterday! Don't buy here!

THRILLSEEKER 10-18-2010 08:02 PM

The problem is there was no details about the negative feedback, just a bunch of guys saying "dont buy from him because I said so" without posting one specific detail.:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Until somebody actually speaks up with some relevant info as to why MTC is so bad, this entire thread is a wase of bandwidth.

I do know the owner of MTC and Jeff and about both deals mentioned on hear ,your only getting someones complaint with no facts .I watched this co. come up the past few years and it didnt survive the past few years by making unhappy customers and thats a fact !!!!!!!!! When you buy used boats there is allways something wrong thats not noticed until you spend time using it Hell I have purchased several new boats and found lots of things that wasnt right the difference is NEW COMES WITH A WARRINTEE .like someone said earlier get a survay MTC has done work on my boat ,great job ,prompt service, competative price. MTC works on way nicer boats then mine.If I were to purchace a used boat off of private owner or dealer ,spending more then 20 k I would negotiate the survey in the deal ,sea trail it for more then minutes. and get everything in writting.
