I haven't been on OSO in a while so I was surprised to see my post in this forum back up near the top again. Fortunately he only hit me for like $80 but it's the principal of it that pissed me off so bad. I pride myself on being honest and taking care of the people that buy parts from me when I have something to sell. Which isn't to often. I sold a hyd. steering system and k-planes to a guy a few years back that were off my boat that I decided to part out when I bought my Daytona. I took a loss on the shipping due to my quote being way to low but honored my end and then the steering wheel (which was a year old and looked brand new still) was damaged during shipping. I tried to get usps to cover it due to having the package insured but it turned into a nightmare and I chose to just settle up with the guy that bought the parts. I ended up reimbursing him the cost of a new steering wheel. In the end I came out of pocket nearly $600 but it was the right way to deal with the shipping, etc...

Hopefully, eventually Jeff and Jennifer Lato get what's coming to them. Clearly they have issues and have no problem screwing people over still! If I recall correctly, from the research I did.....they have a young child as well. I feel sorry for their kid! Hopefully CPS has stepped in by now and placed the child in a healthier environment with much more responsible people! As for Jeff and Jennifer Lato, they just seem like the typical low-life, drug abusing, no class loosers that feel it's ok to rob people of their hard money or property they bought with their hard earned money. Either way, they are both just completely pathetic!

When I was looking for info on Jeff and Jennifer Lato after he screwed me over I found a picture of him on a sail boat. Whether it was his or not doesn't really matter but the picture said volumes about him IMO..........(to sum this dirt-bag up in one short sentence)...."True low-life with champagne taste on a beer budget!"

The money has absolutely nothing to do with this post! This is about warning others that this lowlife is ripping people in our boating community off and an effort to alert boat owners of his M.O. I don't know why you would even bother posting you snide comment. There's was no reason to be rude!

I know you get it! Like I said, this wasn't about money but really focused more on letting people know that this Dirtbag and his wife are out there and they're ripping off other good people that don't deserve this kind of crap! Fortunately for me it was not a great deal of money that I was taken for but the principle of the whole thing (whether it had been $20 or $2,000) just absolutely pissed me off!!! It actually almost became comical at how idiotic these two thieves are!
