Treatment #4 is completed. Seems like we're moving in the right direction. She's less dependant on the pain killers and her appetite is getting better. She has gained a few pounds, but still looks very thin and pale. Her attitude and sense of humor are still very good.

Good to hear, with every thing that happened this week we needed some good news.

Medical Update: We are finished with treatment #6. Monday she gets a CAT scan to see if the tumor has shrunk enough for effective surgery. She will either need more chemo, chemo AND radiation or be ready for surgery. Once they're in there they will know if they just take the tumor or the whole pancreas. Need prayers more than ever.

Good to hear Ed. Your Wife is in my prayers! :)

My first thoughts when reading this were "next to every successful man in this world is a strong women." Its enlightening that she is staying optimistic it helps mentally and phycially during recovery. My prayers for her to pull through this are with your wife and you Ed.

Best wishes.

Many thoughts and prayers for your wife! Prayer and positive attitude can be more powerful than modern medicine. Hug her for all of us!

Well, after a CT and PT scan we know the following as of last Friday: The cancer has not spread at all and the tumor has shrunk, but is still wrapped around the major artery. They are planning a new round of chemo that should be easier for Renee to tolerate. This new chemo should allow her appetite to return and let her gain some needed weight and strength. The doctors are becoming more optimistic that she can make a full recovery after the necessary surgery. Thank you all for being such caring friends.

Great news!
