It not right stealing any car, but stealing it on the weekend of the Buick Nationals is just plain awful! I was supposed to be there with my uncle and brother in law. Its been a long time since I have been to the Nats. Did you say 5 cars got stolen from this area? I have to ask this question, what type of car did you used to race at the Nats, a tricked out Staton Wagon perhaps?

Well there were 2 men that saw the car and trailer heading up North. Both said they were traveling with 2 other set-ups. First up I65 into Indiana then heading North on 75 in Ohio. The timelines seem to line up as well, because the Indiana sighting was at about 9:00am and the Ohio sighting was after 12:00pm. I would be tracing there steps up through this route and checking gas station videos!

I've always wondered about the cars coming to these shows being stolen. I would think the hotels could hire some policemen to patrol the hotels. Another idea is to create an impound area that people could leave their rigs in. There is a great auto auction yard that is right off I-65 that has tall fences and a gate. Hire some security and let people sleep at night. Sorry for your loss, I saw lots of rigs but not that one. I'll keep an eye out for that one, but it seems like it's long gone from Bowling Green.

Lock the hitch.
Lock the drawbar.
Back it up to a wall.
Pull all the starting fuses on the truck.

That sucks. I watched a beautiful GN get totalled at a small hardware store near my house a couple years ago. It was parked near the street, and a NARCALEPTIC DRIVER fell asleep and destroyed it in the middle of the day. Sad stuff. Awesome cars.

I slept in my car trailer for a night a few yrs ago in daytona for bike week.
About 4 am I wake up to a noise, dumb fukkers cut the back door lock even though if they looked in side door which was unlocked they'd have seen me sleeping.

They're opportunists, big events bring nice $hit.
Good luck

Oh ya, I yelled wtf and they were gone b4 id even found a flashlight
