Say what you want about a Baja, but at least my boat wasn't modified by Kenny Rogers' plastic surgeon.

Just what part don't you like? Everything that has been done looks better and works better than the original to all but a few and all the others own a classic deck with the junk F16 windows so they have a reason to not like what they don't have.....what's your reason??

The windshield just doesn't look good. It looks like it was added on cheaply and from the pictures I have seen, not mounted square to the hull. The pictures of the interior workmanship fails to exude quality as well.
My comments are based off of pictures. Jim failed to oblige me with a tour, which he promised along with a beat-down aimed at me while he was pretending to be someone else in 2009 at the Shootout, or possibly the Support Our Troops poker run when I pulled along side him on the lake while idling. Memories fade, please excuse mine.
I know you have some sort of involvement with the construction and or fixing of what was not constructed correctly as well as the setting up of the boat. I like the bustle idea, however it didn't turn out to my taste & from reports from others, my standards. Congratulations on your biased opinion. Why you would associate yourself with a turd like Darr is beyond me. I guess his money is as green as the next guy's, but damn! Associating with him just seems to be a poor decision. To each his own.

I wonder why a web site can turn a adult person who at the very least can afford a boat with the job they have into a ninth grade kid.

My opinion is not biased only well informed about all boats.
Every boat I have seen could use some help no matter the price or how new. This old boat is just getting fixed up it's been around a long time.
And the list of people I associate with is the people you wish you knew. So don't worry about what I do or who I associate with I'll be fine thanks for the thought.
I can tell by your posts to others you like to think your in the know of things but I can tell you that the ones who know don't act or post like you and a few others on this thread.

I am a child. Jim Darr is a fuc*stick. What more is there to it? You have failed to point out any redeeming quality he may have. I guess I am missing the point you are attempting to make. Please enlighten the rest of us as to why Jimbo is so great.
I'm a dickhead with very few redeeming qualities, but you already knew that. Your "A" list friends probably told you.

I think we all have friends that are fuc*stick's. We all have friends that people ask how can you be friends with him?

The bottom line is Jason you have helped a lot of people on a variety of threads from motor's to stereo's to anything else you have knowledge of and that is on mutliple forums, for that everyone you have helped is greatful.

In Weapon X defense I think it says a lot about his loyalty to defend the boat!!! He has done a lot of work to take an old boat and make it something again. Did it turn out perfect? NO!! But if this boat wasn't associated with Jim Darr we would be discussing the ideas and motor's.

I can tell from personal experience that everything I said about you above is from not ever meeting you. I hope you continue to give your opinion.

I can also say from personal experience that I know Weapon X and he would do everything you have done online and would drop everything to help a friend. Including Jim Darr.
