Ok, been on oso for 10-11 years, i see once in a while a couple allusion to jim darr, still don t know what he did and how do you know its him when he changed names too many times according to the read... So, whats the long story short?

those engines won,t live long in the boat with an a/f ratio of 12/1.dyno hero numbers but not realistic in boat numbers.you do plenty of this type engines and you know what i am saying weapon x.also you say 7 lbs boost but no boost data on the sheet?if it sounds to good to be true it usually is!in any event they should still make decent power with a safe tune.

Mike what would you like to see for AFR on this motor? The egt's look good with timing at 31.

yes they do look good,to good.with a roots blower,7.2 lbs boost something does not add up.imo,r roots deal with 12-1 afr will create so much heat in the combustion chamber it will start pre ignition and then it,s game over.it will work for a short run but if you leg it out it,s gonna burn down.just for clarification i run my whippled 588s at 10.5-1 afr at wot.without meth injection i don,t know how that engine can produce that hp level on pump gas with those numbers.id love to put one of those engines on the dyno i use.il bet my last dollar the results will not be so impressive.
