Thanks for the warm welcome. Exactly why I never became a member. I am who I say I am. I enjoy boating just like everyone here.

Don't recall you saying who you are but if you've been lurking for years you already know that plenty of people have used multiple screen names including Sloanaker so I'm sure you'll understand the skepticism. I never accused anyone of anything just pointed out some facts.

He was obviously doing his homework.

I don't think in the big scheme it was fare to ban him when others were making direct and veiled threats not to mention the insults thrown his way...i do believe all of those violates oso rules as well. So where's the line?

+1

It's all good. I'm sure audio will vouch for me. Biggus would but he absolutely hates drama. Nobody knows that more than me. Lol

I'm not divided by any means, I still hate phucking thieves period. I don't hate their friends though, they have the right to be friends with anyone of their choices that they choose to call friends.
I agree that all the name calling is BS and so is dragging the accused family's into the mix. They had nothing to do with the incident and are victims of circumstances.
Over the past few months it looks like the board lost several long term members, that's a shame for sure.
Bottom line is they're all innocent until proven guilty or they cop a plea to the charges, it looks like maddad posted the most recent relative info to this mess. There are still very many unresolved multiple felony cases hanging in the air over their heads.

I'll stand by my post earlier in this thread in regards to all those charges being flushed down as one.

I find it quite a shame that the prosecutors there agreed to this plea agreements terms.
What kind of example does it set for the citizenship of the state, most especially the young people???

See ya,
Kelly

I wouldn't care if it was a friend of mine or not, getting all the other charges save one cop out plea dropped sucks for everybody except the guilty party, it ain't right, and it DOES set a terrible example of prosecuting criminals to all of us.

Ok Kelly...I see your points. Here's one more worth mentioning. If any of my friends were involved with a long term powerboat theft ring like this one, I would have become aware of it at some point. It's inevitable. And my friends are alot brighter & more closed mouthed then this bunch of Carnival clowns. (One thinks his charges were dismissed, one has been arrested more times than Baskin Robbins has flavors, one says he only repoed CS, etc. And they are all going to kick some azz, LOL!) Now, I believe that the "friends" have known all along that this powerboat theft ring was operational. These "friends" are OSO members, & they have to know that these powerboat thieves prey on other members. And that is intolerable.

I can not view posts 441-480. Everytime I try to go to that page it takes me to the page before. Anyone else having this problem?
