It's doubtful that someone stole them for their own use...too much quick money to be made by selling the power trains cheap. Do you have the serial numbers for the drives and engines? It's a long shot but you never know. I have a nephew who is a detective and he says he will work closely with victims on high dollar equipment to break up theft rings. He has actually posed as a buyer and purchased stolen Cars, Boats and Airplanes to bust these thieving bastards. Bravo XR drives OM168097 port, OM168096 strbd. these motors were fresh overhauled and the drives and motors showed like new. The CMI headers were brand new. The boat was stripped completely the seats, dash guage panel, even the sink. |
so there was one sitting missing these parts so now that boat is up and running, just look for a 35 that just appeared with new power, in that area or close around, spring is near.
