The bare block was a picture i got a month ago after getting back from the machine shop. (Which took a month to have honed and checked)
The assembled picture i got this week
" the assembled one checking oil pan to pump clearance".
Notice the difference in generations, and difference in main bearing caps.
The excuse i got was i sent the wrong picture.
AND I still have not got the right picture.
Was he trying to pull one over my head thinking i would not notice or was it a accident to send the picture????????
Im down to driving the 2400 miles and 40 hours florida to pick up my motor which is supposed to be done mid week which i have a feeling wont be done or does not exist. Or do what the lawyer said cancel my visa transactions and go in dispute.
Im not the type of person to back out of something like this I am totally commited and want the motor i paid for.

Reading this thread after I made my first post a few months ago doesn't give me a warm and fuzzy feeling about the drives I bought. I haven't set them on the boat yet but I am starting to get the sick feeling that I might have 2: cases of parts crammed into Bravo I housings...God I hope not!!

Zeke...mine would be a $1200 mistake. If I was out $8K I would follow the advice of your lawyer. I really do hope this works out for you.,,,and me.

Are you saying that you asked a lawyer and Visa for advice to get out of this mess, they both told you the same thing and you are going to ignore it????

Did you read this thread before buying what ever motor he said you bought? CANCEL THE TRANSACTION IMMEDIATELY!!! At best, you're going to get a piece of junk 6-8 months from now. If you haven't read this thread and the other started about this guy, read them quickly and cancel the transaction.

i know i know. For some reason i do have faith in this guy though. My BIGGEST problem is lack of pictures. everyone has a camera. or better yet camera phone should be easy for pictures you would think

Follow Visa's & your lawyer's advice.

well old dave is coming threw, guess a little rattling his chain got his ole camera snapping some shots. heres what he just sent me. Ill be able to sleep tonight with out liquid medication

Cancel your transaction! When finished (and right) you can always pay for it again.
Escrow or something.
