IMO, the fact that Kid or UPS is taping boxes together is BS. Any GOOD seller wouldnt do that. Why should Farmer suffer because of this? Why not ship 3 boxes seperately?

I belive that Farmer indicated there was no sign of another box being taped to either of the boxes he recieved.

Paully might be alot of things but one thing I can assure you of he's not a thief.....I talk to him all of the time and have been to his shop many times another thing someone stated that his BUSINESS is a boat business he does this as a hobby mostly and he works a regular career job during the day and like me he is usually tired and doesn't want to deal with a bunch of kitchen *****in at the end of it....Now when I was accused of something a while back and defended myself everybody told me I overreacted so what's one to do??? I don't know the story but got the jist of it when I read the thread....so what does everyone think a fair solution is and don't say buy me some new flame arrestors cause I will tell you to pound sand before he does!!!! Take everything back prepaid shipping, refund all the money. Back to square one, though seller will be out some shipping cost and the arrestors. Shame on him for not properly packaging and insuring.

looks like bigfarmer&kidapache have nothing to say,they both had plenty of time to add there thoughts,if they dont care to add anything else to this thread,id say it is dead, and not worth our time anymore,just my opinion.:daz:

1.Dont know what paul told you as i sent him my cleaners to trade for the ones he had. NOT A FREEBEE

2.The cheque was NOT made out to a different individual, He requested the cheque be put in his name not the guy who actually owned the carbs.

3. The cleaners he had wouldnt fit the 4150 style carbs he just got so i sent him mine thinking he could make them work by modifying the bottom plate.

4. If They Got Lost then where are they...there was definitely enough time for them to show up somewhere. I was NEVER called and offered an other set of cleaners. Tell him to call me ill accept them no problem!!!

See it all the time, a deal is made, someone is short changed, then the seller falls back on "well, its still a great deal"

The seller of my current home purchase did the same thing to me, falling short on a few small repairs he promised to make at neg time. He excuse, I got a really good deal on the house below market value. I closed, because I had to, then sued and won :)

And the buyer sent the seller his old arrestors??? Crazy! Seller needs to replace said arrestors, or refund and return the buyers arrestors and money.

If they are still a "good deal" at $2500 with no arrestors, the seller should have no trouble reselling them.

well bigfarmer has come and offered his side of the story with PROOF.kidapache has not said 1 word,even when called a thief,offshoredrillin spoke up for his friend.at this point in time,i have to say bigfarmer did get screwed by kidapache,as it appears the kid even lied to his friend offshoredrillin.it is my belief that kidapache did not speak up because he is guilty as charged..just for the record,i do not know either party in this dispute,my interest in this is because i have baught&sold quite a few times on oso and i,as im sure many others pay attention to these type of threads so i wont get caught up in a similar dispute.unless kidapache makes this right,i for one will not buy anything from him,and il bet im not alone.:daz:

Sounds like an amicable solution would be for kidapache to return bigfarmers cleaners and theses two guys walk away.

You didn't get your cleaners on "trade" so he gives you back the cleaners you attempted to "trade". You got the parts you originally wanted so I assume they were in working order?

if you wanted your old cleaners back you should have called me i got no call i did not use them still have them.as for the carbs you bought them from a customer of mine he wanted $2,500 you sent me a check for $2500 i payed the shipping for them it cost me $100 to sent them to you that i payed just to help you out. those other cleaners are lost still if you wanted yours back you should have called me my phone still works good

kidapache claims the carbs were not his and he made nothing on the deal,and he spent 100 dollars of his own money to cover shipping because he wanted to help bigfarmer out.i have trouble believing that bs story,it,s all about credibility or in kidapache,s case,lack of credability.it is my opinion that kidapache is not a person i want to do any business with.

Maybe the friend wanted $2000, Kid sold them for $2500 for a little under the table side profit. That'd explain the check in his name and willingness to pay $100 for shipping, still leaving $400 for a small profit.

On a side note i delt with Jon (farmer) last week on a set of props everything was as advertised he drove here and i met him personally i hope he and kidapache can work it out!

Met farmer on the Leopa spring poker run. Nice meeting good people like him that are my age and are as passionate about boating as myself.

So where is this headed? I heard from the farmer this weekend what was going on. I was suprised to be honest I never thought he would have got screwed on the cleaners. I was the one who took the day off work for the farmer to go all the way to detroit to ship these things out, I remember the cheque was in fact the one that farmer posted on here as I was the one who put it in the envelope and made sure the UPS lady taped to it to the inside of the box.

Its a crappy world when some people go out of there way to help people out and get people their parts and then to have them totally screw you................yeah Kidapache I mean you. I say send send the cleaners back to the farmer and make this right because I plan on sending PM's to every person you start dealing with warning them about you. Of course if you make this right I will refrain from doing this. Call it a threat I dont care you cant take a guys parts and then pretend like nothing happened.
