If you need quick replacements while waiting for insurance, saw these online
Wow, those special xr drives he's selling can handle 1600hp!!
Sorry about your loss, if scum sucking thieves got more than probation and a fine that would help stop this sorta thing!

Did you have drive locks installed?

Yep, first thing I do with a new boat. Drives are just too easy to steal, regardless of where you keep them.

Drive locks can still be forcibly removed, but it definitely makes 'em harder.

Unfortunately even drive locks don't really do the trick. There have been a few times over the years where I forget to give the drive lock key to the marina when they are working on the boat. I always get the call a week later asking if they should just break the lock off and put a new one on when done. But at least if the thief is not planning on it having drive locks, it will slow them down some.

I've had to cut them off of customers boats often. But the theives will usually just go to another boat rather than deal with cutting a lock off. We had several drives stolen from the yard a few years ago, they took every outdrive that wasn't locked. Left the locked outdrives alone.

Well the same POS mother dockers have struck again twice in the same place. They got a set of bravo drives off of another boat less than two weeks after Pat's and they came back for mine over the weekend. They got the tie bar off, screwed up the drive shower hose but did not get the drives because of the locks.

Pat...this **** just got real personal!!!
