Karb King pittsburgh pa. They advertise on craigslist to rebuild your carburetor. They couldnt rebuild a lawnmower carb!
Do not use these people. They suck!

oh man ive never heard of this guy but no way in hell would i ever use this guy. i would send a message to Mike Tkach so he can spread the word and save the boating community!!!!

I am not going to post allot, i want as many people as possible to know how bad these people are. I have photos and emails.

64lavey - I see you are in my state. A lot of people use Hobbs in NH for carb rebuilding.
That's if you still need some carb work which it sounds you do.

Edit in + disclaimer: I do my own, therefore I have no personal/professional experience with them. Many in my area talk them up, though, a lot. Just passin' on the info.

64lavey, I feel your pain and so do hundreds of people scammed by these scum bags...
I have photos and emails as well...How can they keep going on? Wish I lived in PA....baseball bat and superglue!!

My girlfriend sent these low life bastards $230 in Dec 2014 to buy a carb for my xmas present as she had seen me struggle to work on the pos carb I had......as of today April 13th, 2015 all we have in return for $230 has been empty promises, threats, and blackmail emails because of a rotten review i gave them and not to mention I have yet to receive the carb we "built" from emails!!! No refund said Mitchell Kranefus of KarbKing which by the way, operates out of Motive Parts of Homestead, PA 15120 (412) 461-4942. Still waiting for the carb we discussed to be sent to me!!
I contacted the Attorney General of PA. Matthew Kreush.
This abuse cannot go on any longer...this is a post to help me and others get justice from these scum bags and to prevent others from being robbed.....PLEASE HELP those who have lost money and Carbs!!

LOL... Not true in our case besides, there are thousands of reputable business's on CL. My gf did not find these scum nbags on CL. ..why on earth would someone from NM search the PA CL's ads?
Doesn't matter to you cause you were not screwed out of $230 and I would hope that if this ever happened to you, you would have the courtesy to fellow members and courtesy as a human being to notify others of scammers!!
If you do not like what has been said here, you don't have to reply with a negative comment, be an adult and see beyond your own nose.

Well without the 27 8x10 colored glossy pictures with the circles and arrows and a paragraph on the back of each one explaining what each one was to be used as evidence...

Just saying they suck is about as informative as those pictures are to a blind judge's seeing eye dog.....

I just had my 1900 cfm dominators done by karb king. Sent them in and had them back in 4 days. Picked up 7.5 mph gps . He threw in free shipping also.

The PA AG is seeking justice not only in my case but at least 60 other cases, he is compiling more evidence everyday. What do you want me to send? Pics of my lost money? How the **** would i do that? You want me to post all the emails from them?
Here was one email after i left a negative review:

3 months of empty promises and would not refund our money! I looked up their webpage and found google review, I gave them a "one star" for lack of communication and monetary loss. That was their response. Holding my money and carb "hostage" all because I was being truthful.
I was finally sent sent a carb..will attempt to load pics....when we gathered information as to what carb my motor needed, they said and I agreed to on nov 13th 2014 "We'd suggest an Avenger-style 785 CFM vacuum secondary unit with a light spring and 65% linkage to give you that DP kick without the inherent inefficiencies." Using your carburetor the price is $145 or using our core the price is $230 delivered ready to run.
Currently we are less than a week out. Karb King--The Monarch of Mixers! Nov 17th 2014 Thanks for your order--we'll hand your completed form over to The King's minions so they'll be ready when your Karb arrives. OK now I gotcha…perfect! I will get one out to you by next week.

Soooo what they sent hopefully photos will do justice, antiquated holley, missing flo t bowl screws, bent throttle shaft, bent everything!!! They sure did send me "a" carb not what I paid $230 for!
