So has anything ever been resolved with this? I do wonder why a boat manufacturer wouldnt just buy there engines from Mercury ???

Yes, Mike passed away from Covid, sad. The Ironic thing is he had quite a few FB post about how there isn't a big covid problem in the "561" and such, RIP
