as far as i know rik was making the asd 7 with the trans in an extension box where as the asd 8 the trans was inside the boat the 7 was supposed to retro fit a bravo without moving the engine forward..... this is a disgrace to howard who was a true gentleman and was good for the sport

I ordered a pair of asd7m compete kits and just got them delivered January 2022. Rik has been great throughout the hole process and answered all my questions. Also helped me as a middleman when I bought props at no charge. The delivery time is long right now but we all know that everyone has delivery problems look at Merc outboards for example.
He is still helping me now though the rigging process and all is good.
In my opinion you don’t have to think twice about contact Rik for a deal he is real stand up and helpful.
just saying, if someone is interested in my real life experience from my affairs with him in present time.

I’ve talked with Rik probably 4-5 times in the past couple months. Ordered some parts, which I received right away, and have been in contact about the next batch of chain/sprockets.
He’s always been able to help me out, and if he didn’t have the parts, he didn’t have the parts. No shady business with me.
