Ron Sproal Performance is a total scam. This clown is the ultimate con artist. He has been running his game for years and I'm currently in a law suit against him. My mechanic contracted him for a top level refresh only and he rebuilt my motors from the pan up. I received no quote or estimate and nothing but delays until he sent me an inflated bill for work I never approved. I have contacts for several individuals he has stolen from over the years. He will only ruin your motors and steal your money.

So lets hear more details, I have "questions"
1. Your mechanic contacted him to have top ends done (my guess of what you meant by top level) and they turned into full rebuilds? Soooo, at NO time did he EVER contact you or your "mechanic" and say these need more than top ends, we need to do full rebuilds? Your "mechanic didnt say do whatever they need to be right"? He just did that on his own without EVER saying a word to ANYONE? Since I ALSO rebuild, tune, dyno engines I honestly find this VERY hard to believe.
2. When he was done your engines were "ruined", ruined in what way?? ruined from your mechanic reusing bad components, oil coolers, leaky exhaust, ruined from overheating, ruined from mistakes he made, ruined from what and in what way?
3. what engines, what year, what was the bill?
Ive had a couple business dealings with Ron and never had a issue but nothing beyond that. If your gonna make these claims I feel its only fair to present more information. If you actually got ripped off or your engines were ruined by something HE did and he wont stand behind it, lets crucify him, but if your not gonna elaborate,I feel this is more of a disagreement because you felt his bill was too high!

Random troll evidently. It's sad that people do things like this in this day and age...but it seems either mistaken or DELIBERATE misinformation has become the norm for some. About the only "social media" I even glance at is TikTok and YouTube, and people just post outright lies and drivel that if one wanted to take the time to sue them, they could...but these idiots know that it's not worth the time and effort most the time.
But as a business owner, I would be flat PISSED about a post like this...and feel motivated to take action...if the claim was baseless.

They took the time to post their rant, maybe there IS a issue BUT claim looks baseless with no details . RON SPORL provided one of my dyno customers with a 502 mag short block who didnt want to wait for me to build one that was flawless and very reasonably priced. He provided another customer with a set of new brodix dragon slayer heads that were done right that I ran without issues. In my limited experience with him on these 2 things I think he's a stand up guy. What I can only guess what DID happen since OP hasn't responded is his "mechanic" dropped off a pair of wore out, hurt engines and gave him the OK to do "whatever it takes " and customer had no clue what quality engine builds cost from ground up and was shocked by final bill, Smitty
