Eddie has been busy keeping Nashville Katz running but should have me done in the next 5-7 days. My work and family issues have kept us off the water anyway so no big deal. I hope the 5 blade props pick the old girl up a notch or two. Joe Murray

Got the old girl to the water on Sat. She ran great but was a PITA to get up on plane. 5200 RPM 75 MPH with more trim to go but we ran out of lake. Put on the new 5 blade props and what a difference. She practically jumped on plane with little or no cavitation. 3000 rpm 45 MPH, 3500 rpm 51 MPH, 4000 RPM 60 MPH. 5000 RPM 73 MPH and pulling when the line from the starboard trim pump lets go. The rest of the story tomorrow after repairs. Wed on to Destin for the EC poker run. Joe Murray

Good, looking for the tweaked numbers. Are you running GPS?

I have not been on this thread in a while, so Joe you are saying this was your first weekend in the water all summer If that is correct sorry to say it but you need a new engine shop. We have been out an about since June. Sounds like you are happy with the five blades

Just got back from Emerald coast PR. 9 adults, full load of fuel and she planed out fine. 5 adults, full load of fuel 77 Mph at 5200 RPM. Boat ran 3 days with NO problems and the last day was about 150 miles in the PR. With the kind of work schedule, medical issues, and family issues going on this summer ths was the first time available to get togather to go to the water. We even had some family drama while on vacation. You can't ever get away from stupid kids. Joe

We got her back to LC in her slip. The word is that 4-6 BT's are coming to LC for the poker run in two weeks. We have a late model 46 EC on the lake running out of Jamestown Resort. Joe Murray

Joe,

Can you give me some info on the gen set and A/C. Did the boat previously have a genset?

My wife got a little spoiled when we had the Formula and misses the AC.

Fred, I tried to send you a PM but your mail box was full. My BT was factory rigged with both gen and AC. I replaced the gas gen set with a MASE diesel gen set. It burns .3 GPHour. It was a pretty straight forward rig job. The AC is Cruisair 7k BTU remove and replace. I bought the MASE factory direct. I bought the AC from Thom Chase Heating and AC,Chattanooga, TN. Phone # 423 344 6356. He gave me a 20% discount and I had him ship to my mechanic. Joe Murray
