Default 114 at Loto

Well, we went 114 on radar and 117 on gps and still accelerating. Pretty happy with that. More for next year -Jason

I heard there were a couple of triple black thunders there. I am wondering what they ran?

Thanks for the nice comments everyone. I believe we were the only BT that ran this year. The boat was a project of sorts between my Dad (Dennis) and I. It gave us the chance to build some big motors. They are around 1225/1250 hp. I believe the boat weighs in at 11,500 lbs dry, but we were running with half full tanks (holds 320 gallons). We have seen 118mph on gps and still accelerating. The boat isn't really setup for top speed. The boat handles like it is on rails. It just sat there running down the course at 117 on the gps with 2' rollers coming at it from the side. There is an easy 10-15 mph left in the boat with some different props and a little more dailing in. We are happy though being the fastest V-Bottom at the shootout this year besides the Outerlimits. More for next year..... -Jason
