Excursion, I am not bashing at the Boat .We made our homework before puchase. We negociated whit the president imself, made Me & wife some promises, we sign a purchase agreement before leaving MO,1 week later we canceled the deal because of TITLES not being clear, Then after solving that issue, we had a inspection done, and finaly found out that the boat we had purchased at 175 hrs, was registering 340 hrs on the EFI. !!!! So we Cancelled again the deal, Try to Figure out all of the PROMISES WE GOT TO RE-SIGN A DEAL !!!!! We where CRAZY enought to give in to all of this BULL. and they dont stand up behind their WORD... The boat was a used unit they had for a couple of years.

This thread set idle for over a year and now you reply to what Fantom X said???????????? Why would you bring this back up? Geeze people. All I will say is that I had no issues in purchasing my boat from BT. I do a lot of business in a big city and must say that it was a true pleasure to deal with the small town people of Hannibal Missouri. The entire company was a family type atmosphere.

I am in the final stages of having them build a new boat, they are doing things for me that they have not done in previous boats. Example, extending the engine compartment an additional 8 inches to accomodate staggered engines with room to work infront of the lead motor, and a few others as well. To date everyone that we have dealt with have been upfront and willing to listen and change things around. I will go into detail later, for now I will sit back and observe.

Spiker, I am glad to hear you are having succes with BT, I met Bob at the Lauderdale boat show and thought he was very sincere about all the concerns I had if & when I was ready to move forward with them to build one as I would like it to be. Good luck with your's and keep us posted, maybe on a new thread. JB |

What happened then? It seems as though people like to just open a can of worms, but never really tell what happened. Seems like people just want to badmouth but not tell the real problem.

If people have an issue with someone or something, say whats going on and don't beat around the bush trying to stir the pot. |
