I don't know how you do the math here but 3 #6's will run you over 100K plus transmissions, bell housings and such. Close to $115K +

The 3 Arnesons would not be much more than half the "total" cost of the #6 Merc's and would be 1/3rd the weight on the transom.

Started with 500efis and now up to 600s. They were tested this past weekend and ran flawlessly

See your form Wichita...I come through every year at least once on my way to hunt in CO. and/or to visit relatives. hope all is well in the great state of TX...still pretty good here...for now. Guess you like the 600s a little more than the 500efi's

no brainer.. guys I drove a Hustler with an early Ilmor set up and ASD-6's..back to back against a xr boat. Both were set up excellent, the XR boat planed maybe abut second faster, but once on plane the Arneson out accelerated it. Docking was equal. For the coin, you cant beat an Arneson. I'm sold on them, less parts, handles more power, less coin..Good Luck on the B-maxs.

a 46 BT with trip #6's would be too heavy in the back. You should really go with arnesons.
