there is a thread some where about the bottom mods that have been done to help the tall decks and I'm sure that with a little updating inside and out that good #'s with 700's wouldn't be problem at all...back when the BT 43 flat deck cam out wasn't it a pretty fast hull for its size anyway???

46' hull weighting roughly 14,000 pounds w/fuel and gear twin 700s w/nxt drives running 88mph to 90 mph is amazing, what other boat with a condo down stairs, gen w/heat&ac, hot water heater, cockpit that will seat 8 to 10 adults, be 6' tall and stand up in the bathroom w/door closed.
The boat was tested in two magazines w/all the amenties I just listed, that is impressive

Our boat with similar motors ran a best of 99mph. With better prop technology these days, and some of the hull advancments BT has made, I think 100mph with 700's and nxt's would not be out of the question, especially if it got a whipple re-cal on it.

Our merc 700 re-cal includes an upgraded cam, pistons, crank, cylinder heads, block, intake, intercooler, and one of our new 16.0 liter positive discplacement SC's that we will be releasing this fall.... We keep the stock cooling system though! lmao

I agree Coolerman, and your improvements to the motors is a good upgrade for more speed
