Hey Shane, was just kidding around about us doing merc 700 upgrades. In all seriousness, whipple does do some nice upgrades for the 700's. You can crank the 700's to over 850hp.

Yes very impresive. Thought I even read 91 some where!!!(hot boat maybe).
The over rated 47 fountain "cat killer" with identical power only runs 88-90. And thats about half the boat of a black thunder! Set up for top end only with no ammenities, a long beak, tiny cockpit and small cabin.
The test driver in PB MAG was impresed that the black thunder was not over proped just for top speed.

We are building intercoolers for the big HP market right now. Should be testing our newest ones here within the next couple weeks.
