Received an email today saying they are back in production for 2013 and will have a boat at the Shootout. Factory in Hannibal and LOTO.

Yes but I wasn't there for the shoot but I am good friends with the guy shooting it and he said he was throwing a shot of monopoly in there.

There are some new people involved, but the Jenkins are still as much there as before and are an integral part of "Back in Black!

How did the relaunch of BT go at LOTO? Did the crowd respond well? I hear they will be building a poker run edition flat deck and also be at Miami? If they do that will be some good news for the brand.

4 46's and a 43 low deck was there on display sat. Every second of the day some one was checking them out got a ton atention!!!!

I think they were wrong, that was the market that was NOT affected! The smart move would have been to start selling big power #6 boats and raise the price to $1 mil!

That was the plan, but unfortunately, the economy had already done its damage and building boats had to be put on hold while Black Thunder undertook some other projects to help keep a few of their longstanding employees working.

Here is some on board footage from our run this year.

We ended up taking top gun manufacturer vee at 128mph, but we unfortunately ran into some engine problems and the motors were not making anywhere near full power.

I'm a fan of royal blue and white. Nice a clean. Nothing too flashy. Paint it up like a Cigarette so it looks as good in 10 years as it does now.

Flat screens in the cabin. Stainless appliances. No funky fabrics. Teak floors. A killer stereo would top it off.

Any pictures of whats going on at the factory?

I would love to have one but will be waiting to see the upgrades and performance no#'s with the new packages. Would love to see a couple built with Ilmors.

Anyone one have any updates? Is BT still planning on having boats in Miami as previously mentioned? If so which ones?

Hey Jason, things are going a bit slow, but are picking up soon. Unfortunately, we won't make Miami. Early summer for sure!

We are in the middle of designing a center console line as well as updating the 460. A sit-down go fast 43 might also become a reality in the future.

I attempted to contact them through the E-mail address on the Web Site and the office phone number. E-mail undeliverable and the call could not go through. Does anyone know if that is the correct information to contact the new Black Thunder?

Is there at least a sneak peak to the progress? Or are the boats in the design stage at this point?
