Looking for some info on the 43 BT. Boat I'm looking at is a 2000 with twin blue 500 EFI's. I've talked to a couple brokers that don't really know the boats they have listed and don't have accurate info. I'm looking for real fuel burn numbers, cruise and WOT, as well as realistic cruise speed and top speed on this setup. Any additional info you can provide is very much appreciated.

I'm moving up from a 35 Center Console with 2 strokes, so I'm trying to get an idea of how much more the maintenance and operating costs will be on a boat like this. Thanks in advance.

Top speed around 70mph. Cruise at 3000-3500rpms is prob around 40-45mph

500efi's burn about 40gph at WOT. At 3000-3500 rpms probably around 25gph. -----per engine.

Thanks Griff! Those cruise numbers are double what I burn now, and WOT is about triple, so it's something to consider. I've always loved the Black Thunders, I guess I just have to determine how much LOL.

Between slip rental, winter storage, routine maintance, insurance about $750.00 per month. The boat was paid for.

I think Griff's numbers are a little high....but he'd not in left field either. At cruise I'd expect about 1 to 1.2 mpg. Lots of info on here about service needs of those engines. Not bad, but more than outboards.

43BT with 500's will be .8mpg cruise and .5mpg WOT

Any idea of where I can get the emblem on my sunpad replicated? Some stitching came loose and I need to replace it. I’ve spoken with John York who tells me BT is back in business and as soon as his interior shop is open they can do it. I’m not sure when that may be though, so, need to come up with a contingency plan
