Bill,

I have external CMI mufflers so everything exits thru the transom. With Corsa or the Merc systes, generally the quiet mode exhausts thru the prop hub and open mode is thru the transom.

This boat is set up with Corsa silent choice that is diverted through the bottom of the boat. We were out this past weekend and had one of those tubes develop a leak that was pushing water in so fast that the bilge pumps were on and off again in a matter of seconds. I really don't like this setup at all but in order to change it I would have to pull the engines and fill the holes in then regel the hull. BIG pain in the ass.
Thanks for the input.

Bill,

Call me tomorrow at my office 954-565-0014 or my cell at 954-980-2643 and let's walk each other thru the prolbem. I tend to think what you have is a bad bellows hose which could indeed leak alot of water. As it's on the trailer, that can be determiend pretty quick.

Thanks,

Steve

Well, we were successful in replacing the hose that blew apart. Boy, was that fun. It is a good thing the Black Thunder has a large engine compartment. It took both of us several hours and a lot of sweat/swearing to get it done. Then the motor blew up. Oh, well...it's always something.
