I can't believe they cant find this worthless person. My thoughts and prayers go out to the little boy. Do the boats in those states have same reg numbers and markings as other states. like letters and sticker may sound dumb but was just wondering. I cant believe you could hide sumthing of that size.

horrible all the way around...my guess is the guy was over the bac limit and panicked and now is in hiding.

2 years ago I was pulling out of my marina, in my 24 ft Limestone family boat in an area where everybody planes out to get going and a jet ski came shooting across my starboard path from the shore wide open with the rider looking over the wrong shoulder. It took everything I could muster to rip the throttle back and veer hard port side all the while leaning on my under powered horn and shouting hysterically.

Sold my 2 skis the very next day and ordered the highest decibal rated horn for that boat.

I share this just as a reminder that sometimes events can be out of our control on the water...

This is the kind of incident that could have many negative consequences for boaters in general.

Condolences and let me know if there is a fund going for the kid.

Have the police checked the coast guard documented boats ,you can do this online, I am sure they have but if not they should. A documented boat will most likely not have numbers that are displayed. Just a thought.

This guy will eventually get caught, the girl will some day get mad at him and say something to someone and it will get out. Here in VA Beach, Girl get mad, guy hit girl, girl showed photos of him with weapons and C4 to friend, knock knock its the FBI.

It will happen with this guy also, just a matter of time.

I snapped this picture on Lake Mead this week. I know we can't suspect every Fountain out there but this boat just made me think of this post...
