I just cant stand to see no action in this forum so I thought I would spill the beans on a couple of updates. Fire prevention, Sea straining, Fuel delivery system,Two high flow bilge pumps,Brass seacocks, Twin Mesa Balancing 540s fresh off the dyno, New Auto Meter ages to come.I rode on a few of the 9m Carreras many years ago here on Lake Michigan. Those 9m Carreras were some very TOUGH built boats---I felt very safe riding in those boats.

That boat looks like the same 9M Carrera that I rode in back about 21-22 years ago during the offshore races as we headed up to from Saugatuck, Michigan to Grand Haven. It was owned by a guy named Scott out of "Burns Ditch" just south of Michigan City on Lake Michigan. It was mostly white with red/black accent markings and I remember the GIL water cooling dumps slanted on an angle on the transom. He also had the GIL tailpipes black annodized as they hung out of the transom. Scott had a pair of Merc 400hp Cyclone engines in it at the time with GIL exhaust and dry pipes.

Probably Scott Duvalls boat. I think he was a carrera dealer back in the day, and a former racer. I believe he had "damn Manta"?
Last time I was at his place, he had a 30ft carrera there, 32ft scorpion, and a 30ft Cobalt Condurre, which was a carrera hull that cobalt rigged I was told.
