How does it ride in the rough stuff? Nice looking boat, like the original graphics.

Dont know about twin small blocks but mine with a single big block
rides like a much bigger boat which in fact it is.
The 27 is actually the same famous 30 Carrera hull with a 3ft plug in the mold to shorten it to 27 (actually 26'9')

Boat is very nice. Actually rides better than a single. Weight is distributed more evenly w/ 2 small blocks. My single tended to "walk" alittle at 75 MPH . This boat is just more stable, all the time. Over waves, WOT,or in flat water. I think Mark has owned this boat for about 5 years now, maybe more.

What speed is he running? Most twin stock 350 27s were in the mid 60s, at that speed the
hull is very stable. Its once you start going 70+ that it gets loose.
Intresting that it rides better, should actually be worse since the weight is away from the centerline whereas the single has the weight dead center which inherently should make it land level compared to a side by side twin.
Mine walks a bit at top speed (69) but thats to be expected on a 25deg V trimmed up, I also dont have any tabs at all. X dimension and prop selection also changes where it "walks"
A deep drive tends to chinewalk more because its trying to lift entire boat.
I personally dont like the twins in the 27 is there is little room to work between the motors even with smallblocks.
Be cool to build one with a pair of the Raylar LS 550 engines,
1100hp total with the same weight would be a hella fast ride!..
