Cool! Post a pic of it! Never seen the third boat. I've seen this one and the one Humberto / Butch owned but that boat disappeared a long time ago. Good to hear the 3rd one is still around!

There was 1 around Boston ever since I was a kid. I was told it was a factory race boat. It never had any hatches in the bow area and it had a dashboard that went the full width of the boat with 3 compasses. The boat had orange yellow and red striping and had the name " lil dancer" on the side. It looked the same up until about 7 years ago when somebody painted it. It also had race style 2 piece engine hatches with small scoops.

According to Alex and Humberto Picon there were only 3 built. The first one which was Humberto's race boat. Which was stolen and most likely chopped up a long time ago. Mine which was the showdown boat originally and one more. So there may be one more floating around but it's not confirmed. Post up some pics and Alex can probably verify if it is the 3rd one.

this one was not built for race . the other one was the lil dancer it was in south boston last time i worked on it alan swimen bought it new he ran it out of hull ma. i raced mine in late 80s in quincy they bumped me in to b class i guess it was to fast for the other singles .so that was the end of its race days. ibuilt an a class boat why should i have to run in b
