Carrera SS9M / Cobalt Condurre
The Condurre 300 is the same boat as a 30 Carrera,,most were built by Carrera for Cobalt while the last ones were built at Cobalt. Same exact boat as the famous DAMN Carrera , this one has 440hp/454 Cyclone motors,Gils with thru transom tails , hydraulic steering,K-tabs , indicators, yadda, yadda, yadda. Boat has not been in water for past two years, however it starts right up and have video of both engines running and both drives shifting forward and reverse, tabs work great, steering works great, mechanically its 90%..Looks wise needs a good cleaning, wetsand and buff, rear seat needs restiching, one cabin cushion needs replaced, both carbs leaking gas so need to be rebuiilt, both batteries are bad,I used my own to start it,trailer is an 8 lug Myco , one fender has damage, tires need replaced, lights need replaced.. Be a killer old school ride with very little work. Mechanically, couple batteries and carb rebuilds and you are good to go. First $10,000 takes it until thursday .. After that its coming apart... Located on Lake Travis Texas,, boat has been on lake Travis as long as I have been here (10 years) do not know history before that.
If actually interested and have money (no trades) please email me:

So you bought that boat, the one that was on craigslist in Austin ? Remember you posted it and the price. I believe Cobalt rented or bought the molds after the first of production year from Carrera and had them shipped to Kansas at the Cobalt facility.
I have a 300 Cobalt needing engines but I am getting rid of the TRS drives.

Was looking around on OSO and stumbled upon this thread. I am the original owner of your 1986 Cobalt Condurre 300. Custom ordered the boat from the owner of the old Marine Products in Houston back in 1985. Took deliver on September 24th of that year. Bought the black Myco Trailer in early 1988 from Bruce Bullock Marine in Seabrook. The boat was built at the Cobalt Factory. My girlfriend and I visited the factory in Neodesha, Kansas twice during the building process. Had the boat for four years and loved every minute of it. Back in the day, Merc 440 Cyclones were monster motors. it constantly ran 73 mph on radar…….which was fast back then!!

Hey thanks for posting. I have 1986 Cobalt 300 also. It does not have motors but everything else and everything is upgraded including trim tabs K planes. it still has the TRS drives and assemblies. Do you have any info or brochures or articles about these boats. Mine still is out in California at Couger Boats as I need to bring it back to Texas to rig myself.
I was thinking about doing a staggard engine set up with bravo's - get rid of the TRS's and trannies. Any other info about these boats would be great. I also have 3 other Cobalts. Single engine apps. late 80's and 90's apps. I really like the older Cobalts and especially the 300 as back in that timeframe, I wanted one but not at 120 K. Finally found one, just have to go get it. Thanks for your time.
Will agree Cobalt had the mold - 30 Carrera delivered to their factory in Kansas after the first year only that Carrera was building these boats for them. I don't think Carrera built them even for a years worth for Cobalt. I believe it was few built by Carrera then off to Kansas the mold went. I believe 1985 at some point in the year.
