Vinny,
Here is the finished tab upgrade. The pictures show the gel work but I cannot see the repair in sun light. Maybe I am wearing beer goggles. Anyway I am very happy with the finished result and want to thank Kirk at Elite Marine for all of his help. I have never had better customer service in the boating industry. I never showed the installer your picture. He does good work and I think working on your own boat brings a different mind set.

I have ran it briefly, so far so good. I can't wait to get it out in some decent water. With gas as bad as it is the 7.4's are looking better and better.

Vinny,
You are right! We went out today and the boat traffic was heavy. The tabs really keep the nose down. We can adjust the drive up to a more level position and let the tabe keep the bow steady. What a difference! Worth every penny.
