Im new to this site so thank u to any and everyone who responds.
I have been restoring a 1984 Checkmate eluder with a merc488 inboard. I have searched the web endlessly and cannot seem to find any inboard eluders (with the fiberglass engine cowl). Im just trying to find out anything and everything i can about this boat. It seems that there arent many out there like it these days and would like to have an idea of its value, as well as check out what others who own one like it have done to theirs. Thanx, Sean

I have the outboard version eluder of the same year. I bought it from a guy who bought it originally so I have the original brochure from checkmate from that year. I can scan and send you the page in the brochure on the eluder inboard version if you would like, just p.m. me your e-mail. Good luck with the restoration and please post some pics.
