Hey guys, got a quick question for all of you here. I've got a chance to buy a 1989 Checkmate Senator 20' and am wondering if this is a good deal, or not! The boat has a great running 270 mag in it with alpha 1 gimbal. The outdrive has been stolen and is GONE. But the boats gel is in exceptional condition and is Dark blue and white two-tone. Stringers transom are high and dry. The boat is sitting on a single axle custom bunk trailer that is a.... six out of ten. It is very functional but has dents in the fenders and so on. The interior is fine for most, but is cracking and will need to be replaced fairly soon. All in all a very nice boat with lots of potential. My question is what are these boats worth? Is this boat worth my time if I can take it home for $3000.00, or should I find another winter project to keep me busy while the snow flies?
