I cant get any pitures up .Can anybody help? How do I reduce bytes ?

SHARKEY-IMAGES 02-17-2002 06:18 AM

981, Open the file w/PAINT. Click on IMAGE and you will see a spot to Stretch and Skew. Reduce it in percentages. Also you can check the size by clicking on the Attributes. Good Luck!

Vinny P 02-17-2002 10:14 AM

O.K. I give up. How do you do this? It keeps telling me I must reduce the size to 450 x 450. What the hell does that mean? And how do you do that?

checkmate981 02-17-2002 10:18 AM

454,
I did what Sharky told me to do and worked. Thanks Sharky.

SHARKEY-IMAGES 02-17-2002 10:50 AM

454, See post above. No problem 981!;)

Vinny P 02-17-2002 04:04 PM

Sharkey;

I still can't do this. Where and how do you open the file with Paint????

SHARKEY-IMAGES 02-17-2002 10:13 PM

First you need to go where the picture is stored, such as "My Documents" Click onto the picture once. Then on the upper left part of your screen you will see FILE. Click onto that and you will see Open or Open With...you then should get options of different programs to open it with. PAINT should be one of them. Good Luck!;)

Damn 454!!! You have some serious freeboard huh???:D :D :D Ok, here is a hint. When you go to resize your pic smaller, do it in percentages. Such as 50% or 75%. Be sure you use the same percentages on the "Stretch & Skew" to keep the picture looking the same demensions. After you reduce it check the "Attributes" to see if it will fit. They don't have to be exactly 450X450. As long as both values are 450 or less. Example for round #'s, 3X5 picture. 3" is obviously going to be less PIXELS. As long as the 5" side is 450 or less the picture will fit the OSO board. Be sure to use JPEG or Gif when saving the picture in your FILE. It seems to work well with those. Good Luck! By the way guys, NICE BOATS!!!

Pureattitude,

It looks like you have a Raptor (i was looking at the link you tried to post). Where do you ride. I have a Banshee, and we ride in NJ all the time.

Checkmate283 02-22-2002 07:30 AM

I do have a Raptor. I live in North West NJ so i ride the abondoned railroad tracks that go to the Delaware Water Gap. I am selling the Raptor and buying a 02 Grizzly 660 or 02 Prairie 650. I did ride a few times at Sarco in south jersey.

Why get rid of the Raptor for a 4x4 ??????. I've never been to the Places that you've listed. How are they??? We usually ride in Tuckahoe/Millville/LBI areas. Were always looking for different places to ride......Were usually interested in alot of jumps, hill climbs, etc. Email me with some info on these places (i don't want to hog up the owners pic forum with unrelated BS). Here's a pic of a decent hill climb with a good lip on the top -- throw's you about 30 ft.

I love 4 wheelers! I had a Honda TRX250R for awhile and loved every minute of it! Sold it when I got the boat bug. One of these days I'll be able to afford more than one toy!

That's a good looking ride Checkmate 229. I have the same boat in different colors, burgundy, black and white. I had someone scan some pics for me but it says file too large to post. Anyone have ideas on how to get it in?
