One of our rides is a 95 pulsare w/ 95 225 merc CLE, 10" set back on jack, large ear 26 chopper, 1 230LBS man with 1/4 tank, regular gear, cool day, on the edge @ 80.4 GPS.

2000 330zt, weekend package, full fuel tank (appx 140 gallons), 454 mag mpi x2, 23p 3blade mirage plus, 2 people. had a perfect rip of water, saw 71.8 on gps and ran out of water to a no wake zone. Mind you the think chine walks like hell...can turn the steering wheel and does basically nothing. Id like to chage from the internal to external over the winter.

I assume you're trimmed right up to the edge when chine-walking like that, right? Can you eliminate the chine-walk by trimming it down more? Obviously, this will kill some speed, but just wondering.

borrowed bravo 1 30, slips funny around 2500-3000rpms, also ran a bravo 1 28, didnt slip as much, with about the same results...

1999 Checkmate 283 Convincor w/ twin 454 EFI Mags, Bravo 1's, 27P 3-blade Mirage Plus props.
72.2 GPS this weekend on Kaw Lake in OK at 4500 rpm on port tach. (I think my stock starboard tach might be wacky... showed 5200rpm. It was behaving erratically earlier in the day. Might be time for new gauges this off-season.)
80-85 degrees, 50% humidity
2 people in boat with gear and 5/8-3/4 tank of fuel.
Very mild wind chop on lake.

I kept trimming up till it started rocking. Didn't thrill the g/f any. I need to make sure my drives are even... getting the hang of this and don't want to do anything stupid. Gonna keep learning. Would like to see 75 in two weeks at LOTO with 1/4 tank of fuel and just me in the boat. We'll see.

:ernaehrung004: Cool...pretty much the same as my '89. Do you have K=planes? Also, I'm interested in seeing the waterline when the boat is at rest, as I haven't had mine in the water, yet....busy building a garage for it this year while I get the engines ready.:musik010:
