I seen this boat in st.louis, MO , couple of months ago with trailer getting fix. Heard it might be worth a lot of money all white with blue stripe, with budwiser on the side serial #chk82857b585. Has twin mercury 200hp outboards, just curious if a famous boat.

i believe that boat was on ebay for quite sometime about 2years or so ago. i think it finally sold for around 10k if its the same boat. with the budweiser logo on the side it might be the boat. it was a 28 ft with twin outboards on a older trailer. im not an expert, but the only old (1985 era) race boats with real value and worth seem to be cigs & apache. I do know checkmates (owned 5) and they are a great boat , you could call the checkmate factory and ask Kip or Mike they are the original (checkmate boats ) owner sons they have a ton of knowledge

it was my boat for 1 year , the boat was solid but the power was problematic , kept going thru lower units , top ends couldnt figure out if they wanted to run cold or hot , the outboards finilay frustrted me e-nuff to take a 6k loss and get rid of it and back into a 251 concincor with an i/o
its too bad , it had a kick ass cabin and looked great on the water , i did remove the "budweiser" from the side too
