That's pretty good! Just changed mine too. Not as funny as yours though!

I doubt you want this motor. It's running great now but it has been giving me a lot of crap for the last 3 months.

I'll bet your MPI Mag hasn't missed a beat!

Yes, changed the cam to 230/236 .578/.588. Then found a broken plug and had to have a valve replaced along with regrind all the seats. Detonation damage!

Anyway, now it is 100% and running very good. Playing around with props right now.

Dick, No problem! I havn't really kept up with yours either. Bruce sent me the new cam N/C. But I insisted on installing it myself. We still can't figure out why it isn't making 565hp(or even 540 w/new cam) like it did on the dyno. But it is healthy now so Im gonna quit while Im ahead. I think Bruce has done pretty much all he can to help. I just won't go that route again if you know what I mean. I think the missing horses are in the heads somewhere.

It's running 73.5mph(gps) consistantly on any givin day now. Same as last year. The Desk Top Dyno says it at about 510-520hp right now. Only noticable gain I see is acceleration is better now. And it doesn't use any oil!

Good luck with yours and have fun!!

Keep me posted on results!

Eric
