281 Maxxum - Difference between 1989 -> 1991
Hello,
first a short introduction:
I´am Markus from Germany (by the way - sorry for the bad english), 45 years old. The nickname created a a long time ago based of my red car (Rot (german) = red).... but other story.
First boat was in 1997, a 20ft daycruiser. In the year 2000, i bought a 21ft speedboat and stripped it complete a few years later, because the body was not very strong and build it up again same actually with a 19ft daycruiser of friends.
So a few weeks ago, i´ve bought a Checkmate 281 Maxxum built in 1989. Boat is without engines and drives (It´s the version with twins), and i want to strip it complete and change it into single-engine. But first, i want to buy a cover and now, i find one, but it´s for a Checkmate 281 Maxxum 1991-1992. I didn´t find some informations about the difference between 1989 and 1991, so i hope, you can help me.
Next question: Is there a different (bigger) fueltank in the twin-version than in the single-version?
Thank´s and greetings, Markus
