Default Vision 221 with power

Anyone ever put 500+ HP in a Vision? They are a really cool looking boat. If anyone has a fast one, please tell us about it...Im interested in one.

From memory it was the pool above you on the Allegheny. Talked to owner but didn't get the handling worked out. BTW, think the Allegheny will ever clean up to go boating?

I'm up after lock 2 now at outboard haven. He put it in alot never docked. I believe bug C.I. motor pushed it up to 95+ but no 100. Pretty dialed in and decided needed more hull to go faster.
I agree on the river, but couldn't take it and took the formula out today with the wife and kid. Did 2 tows today as well. That's just the life of a normal boater, helping when you can so when you needed the favor is repaid

Thanks for the info guys. That seems to be the common denominator with small boats going fast....they run out of hull and or getting the boat to ride straight and flat.
