Close, only 3 1/2.
The Whipple's added a lot more height to the engines than I was lead to believe. I was told they added two inches to the height. Later I found out that's on the 502 engines. The 454's get more like six.
It took a bit of thought but it worked out.

'98 283 Convincor, twin 7.4.
63.4mph on GPS spinning 22p Hydromotive QIV hitting the rev limiter. I have the ride figured out this year now it is time for some speed. Back to throttle up for some tuning
