We attended the Chicago Boat and RV show this week and could not find any Checkmates. Did Checkmate have boats at the show? Does anyone know what boat shows Checkmate plans on attending this year in the Midwest?

I agree. They need to advertise more. Of all the offshore racing I have seen, I have never heard a whisper about Checkmates.

theres a thread about this on checkmate-boats.com, i guess they feel theyre doin business to the extent they want to, and dont want to hurt quality by trying to build qty.

Now that I think about it, I am glad Checkmate does not invest in the boat shows. If avoiding boat show costs allows them to make quality boats at competitive prices, great! I have to admit I shop for value and that's why I own a Checkmate. We could not be happier with our boat and I like the fact that 30% of our local lake is not boating with our hull. Go Checkmate

checkmate has not had a boat in the grand rapids,mi show in at least 2 or 3 years.
