I was down at Fineline Marine Interiors this week to pick up drop out bolsters for my 28' Checkmate. I spent a couple hours with Mike Mears from Fineline, Bobby Saccente from Chief, and PhilV30 (the owner of the 21' Scout Molds now call "Defender Powerboats". All great people with outstanding talent. The newest 41' Chief looked great!!! With as well as the new "Warpath" ran and Checkmate's one and only "43' Punisher", this hull design should sell well. I'll take the old school muscle boat look any day over these newer rounded, molded swim platform, spaceship looking boats that other manufacturers are producing!!!
