I'm going to take a wild guess and say its a solid bottom with no coring. From conversations I've had in the past their goal is not o build and ultra light layup like some of the other manufacturers have. Now stringers and everything else that would be wood in older boats, that I'd guess is customized. Warpath was Carbon/Kevlar if I remember correctly.

I got some info about the bottom to answer a couple of questions, it is not cored. The layup is a mix of a Hybrid weave, Kevlar and Carbon Fiber. The sides and the rest they use a Structured Core material, no wood. Same as Warpath.

CORE is not only about lightweight, its about STIFFNESS, Strength and modern lamination. Not coring a boat is old school, lazy and trying to save a few bucks, it's old school CT methods from he 70's.

Why a performance boat manufacturer is still using "state-of-the-art" late 1970's technology in 2013 is borderline scary. Think about it…is this how Skater, MTI, Statement, NorTech, Callen or any other modern manufacturer building a boat?

NOPE.

It's been a long time since I posted pics in this thread because it's a PITA without having a manufactures section. Anyhow, here's a link to their facebook page where pictures are posted regularly (as early as yesterday) so you can check in for updates as you like; https://www.facebook.com/pages/Chief...72083309546202

LOL. Just that answers about 150 questions on how good this build will be. So great to see Bob doing something that he has been really great at for a long time. This boat is already a winner.

Leaving Montana this weekend for Florida, hope to be down there when this comes out of the mold.
