I also was checking out the transom and center stringer, they definitely need repair. The wood is soft around the outdrive, lower unit area and a spot where the engines out, I know it needs replacing and cutting the skin off from the inside and ripping old wood out, is there a new material besides plywood to reinstall, any type of structural foam or wood? Any advice would be helpful thanks.

I don't have any experience with anything other than plywood for the transom. Coosa for the stringers is an upgrade but expensive.
