No pics yet but the boat looks good. Basic red.
I went to a resturant here in Jacksonville Fl. called Clarks Fish Camp. While there drinking beer several attractive ladies walked out to the boat to have their pictures taken in front of it. I went out to talk to them but they didn't hang around too long. The boat was the attraction..of course...their hasty departure may have had something to do with my tongue hanging out and my knuckles dragging on the ground. That was enough for me to conclude that the boat is a keeper.
Any of you guys ever taken one of these boats over to the bahamas? I am interested in what their actual offshore performance is like & what wave heights are doable without damaging the boat or becoming too uncomfortable.

I ran couple time in 4-5 foot waves couple times, and depending on the speed, it was pretty comfortable. Sometimes even more comfortable at 30-35 mph instead of 25mph. I also ran once in 6-7 foot wave... 30 was way to much but low 20's was manageable, not dangerous at all. I had my 3 daughter (3 months, 2 and 4 years old). It was not the perfect day of course, but this showed us we had a good boat!

i will say this about the 260. if you will be in really ruff water make sure your trim tabs are in tip top working order. when i first got mine my tabs didnt work to well and it really gave me a poor ride in bigger water. picked up a new pump one day and MAN what a differance. whole new boat

Hi all,
Just got the 26 ft Stinger back from the shop(Dell Marine in Jacksonville Florida) yesterday and took it out today. 2 brand new outdrives($3200), New fuel tank($3745), rebuilt starboard motor. Within 1 hour reverse went out on the port drive and within 1/2 hour after that the starboard motor blew. Oil blowing out the exhaust. The motor was rebuilt by the previous owner. He couldn't pay the shop until I bought the boat from him. I towed it from the shop. Maybe 15 hours on the motor at this point.
I don't know if I should freak or cry.

sh.. happens for sure... Why don't you go back to the shop that did the rebuild. They are small engines. Even though there are not much guarante on engine, he could at least have a look at it !

This is a happy ending.
You still had forward gear on the port side.

It's only time and money.
Start wrenchin and you will be back in the water in a couple weeks.
Could be adjustment problem with the drive, meaning you actually only have one punk motor.
