See how the boat runs the way it is and go from there, what prop is on it? a good prop will help and do wonders if you are looking for simple upgrades, start there for now until you tear into the engine if you do.

just a 3 blade not sure of the pitch. not ss. do u know what i need to get to do a selectable exhaust. its too quiet but i dont want it loud all the time. do i just need some diverters and tips? j

Not sure on the silent choice, I like the lumpy idle, I never looked into the silent choice.
