Re: Hard at work!!
So 320HP and no problems with the drives? That's actually encouraging. I'm not wanting to get extreme with the motors, maybe 350hp if I wanted to be crazy. I heard the alphas wouldn't hold much past 340hp. I never do a holeshot punch, but I like to crank it up in smooth water from time to time, so I don't see why they wouldn't hold.
I'll be uploading more pics of the boat before and after this weekend. Going to start repairing my cabin hatch pieces this weekend and prepping for paint. Any tips on painting the hard plastic that it's made of?

Re: Hard at work!!
as you said don't do holeshot punches, and when getting air, back off the throttle to lower the stress on drive gears, I ran 3 years like that no problem. As far as just going fast for a long time in smooth water, I see no problem either...

Nice airborne shot! I've done that many times in the bassboat, but not the stinger. Here's the profile pic as you suggested, haha. That was taken 4th of July weekend this year.

You'll need to talk to the hubby on this one. I'm so glad we ended up doing a fairing instead of the windshield. So much nicer.
Give Rob a call on his cell 440.413.3589. He'll tell you all about it.
